HALLELUJAH!! I am soooo happy!! Don't know what the ER Dr was looking at, but the Orthopedic Dr I saw today said there was no fracture and that it is just a soft tissue injury!! I can walk on it, for now with the help of 1 crutch instead of two,
and I have to wear this funky astronaut boot (aircast) for a week or so!! The other picture is of my foot on Tuesday after I took the tensor bandage off, you can kind of see how bruised my foot is on the right side of my foot. Two hours after this, the whole top of my foot was purple!!This is one of the
5 bruises I got from the ER nurses on Friday when I went in. They were trying to give me IV in case I needed surgery (my thought, wait till the X-Ray comes back to give me an IV) Two different nurses tried, 2 times each, until the third one came and was successful (sort of) This is the lovely bruise I got after they took the IV out. Nice eh??I'm sooo happy that I can do my baking and I can go out and finish some stocking stuff for hubby!! kinda hard to send him for his own gifts ;)
