It's not fractured after all!!!

HALLELUJAH!! I am soooo happy!! Don't know what the ER Dr was looking at, but the Orthopedic Dr I saw today said there was no fracture and that it is just a soft tissue injury!! I can walk on it, for now with the help of 1 crutch instead of two, and I have to wear this funky astronaut boot (aircast) for a week or so!! The other picture is of my foot on Tuesday after I took the tensor bandage off, you can kind of see how bruised my foot is on the right side of my foot. Two hours after this, the whole top of my foot was purple!!

This is one of the 5 bruises I got from the ER nurses on Friday when I went in. They were trying to give me IV in case I needed surgery (my thought, wait till the X-Ray comes back to give me an IV) Two different nurses tried, 2 times each, until the third one came and was successful (sort of) This is the lovely bruise I got after they took the IV out. Nice eh??

I'm sooo happy that I can do my baking and I can go out and finish some stocking stuff for hubby!! kinda hard to send him for his own gifts ;)

Have a Very Merry Christmas everyone, I know I will be!!!

I don't have time for this....

I broke a bone in my foot.....ya, 2 weeks before Christmas...I don't have time for this right now, you wanna know why? Well I'm going to tell you why, you may or may not care to know, but I feel like if I write it all down, maybe it won't seem so bad??

  • I have tons of baking to do: crookies, chocolate covered pretzels, candied pecans, chocolate bark, carmel popcorn, cheeseball, sugar cookies
  • I still have a few presents to buy: gift for my mom and dad, a few more things for the kids, stocking stuff for my husband and kids
  • cleaning, laundry, Christmas cards, laundry, cleaning, everyday things you have to do when you have 4 kids, school
  • Noah has one more hockey skills class and then his outdoor hockey starts this week, Emmalee has one more guitar lesson, Alexa and Breanna have a school trip on Tuesday

So, there it is...and I don't know if it has helped at all, writing it down. Maybe once I get a cast it will be easier?? Using crutches is really uncomfortable!!! I'm off to veg on the couch and watch some TV with the kids!! Cause that's all I can do...

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

Well, around here it is. We have our tree up, bought it and set it up on the 7th, and decorated it that day as well!! I really like how it turned out this year! We decorated the house with a few other things, so it looks festive over here, mostly. Sorry, I don' t know how to flip pictures from this camera...

The kids had their Christmas play last night, it turned out really well. They all were in it, and they all did well with their parts. Emmalee was an angel, she had 18 lines she said. Noah was a priest, and he had 5 or 6 lines, Alexa was passerby and she had 1 line, and her and Breanna had a line towards the end with all the other angels and choir people.

We've had a few busy days with a school trip, outdoor hockey tryouts, and a earache thrown into the mix of it all. Things are winding down for the year shortly. The kids no longer have Wednesday nights, not till Jan 7th. Emmalee has one guitar lesson left, and Noah has one power skating/hockey skills class left, then he starts outdoor hockey, on Thursday the 18th or Friday the 19th. Breanna's soccer is done till January as well! We have one more school trip for the little girls, and a few other things on the agenda, and then it is Christmas. The kids are excited, of course. They used their own money this year to buy each other gifts, and it was a neat experience going shopping with them. They pretty much knew what they wanted to get each other. To see their excitement when they pulled out their own money to pay, it was something that will be stored in my memory bank for ever! They never even complained once!! Precious little hearts.

Houston, we have a baby!!!

And it's A BOY!!!!! Yeah!! He was born today, December 3rd at 10:12 am, and he weights 7lbs 5oz and is 20.5inches. His name is Boedy Gavin, and he is a cutie!!! It went well, my sister did amazing, and what a true blessing it was to be in that room when it was announced that he was a boy, wow, what emotion!! His mom and dad are thrilled!!! His big sisters adore him and so do his cousins!! That is the first boy in 8 yrs on my side of the family. It has been all girls for the past 7 yrs, 6 girls to be exact. And there is something about the letter A and B, we have 4 A's and 3 B's out of 11 grandchildren on my side.
Here is the proud mommy shortly after giving birth, isn't she beautiful!! She looks pretty good for just going through about 5 hrs of labour! Her water broke at 4am, and she was at the hospital about 5, and she was already 6cm, she got the epidural and reached 10cm in less than 3 hrs. About 3 good pushes and he was out!! The cord was wrapped around his neck pretty tightly, but he is doing well.
Here is the proud daddy and big sister!! Too precious for words!!
Yeah for babies!!!

Still No Baby....

I think she's faking it all ;)

Anyday now...

There is going to be a new member to the family, my little sister is expecting her 3rd baby any day now. Her due date in the 29th, but her first two were early. Soooooo we are expecting this one to come early too!! It might not, but we want it too!! I get to be in the room again, to take pictures and videos. It's such an amazing experience, I'm there when my niece or nephew takes their first breath into this world. It's cool. Thanks Cari for having me in their to share in this miracle!! We made guesses, but I don't know what happened to the paper, I guess boy, Nov 25th. Michael guesses boy too, and two of the 4 kids are with us, but the other 2 think girl. We'll see soon!!! I can't wait!!! Another new baby to hold and snuggle!!

Sadly Alexa has had to stop horse riding lessons. The place we've been dealing with, the people who ride there and keep their horses there, were giving Alexa's trainer some grief. So it was either horse riding or church, cause that was the only time that worked. So, we chose church. Of course. It was sooo sad though, because Alexa was doing sooo well, and loving it so much. We hope to phone some places in the new year, or go back to this place in the spring. We'll see, maybe we can find something to occupy her for the next half of the winter season. Noah is almost done his power skating/hockey skills class. He's done well, and we registered him for outdoor hockey. Breanna has been doing well with soccer, she scored 4 goals her first time playing. Very impressive, since she has never played before. She loves it. And Emmalee is really enjoying guitar!! She is moving along well I think and really enjoys taking lessons from someone she knows!

School is going well too, I've started something new. That's what I love about homeschooling! We are trying to do math, science, geography, social on Tuesdays and Thursdays only and phonics, spelling, art and misc. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. So far it's going well. I just felt soooo overwhelmed with trying to do EVERYTHING in one day. It was just too much. So I hope this works. I like having structure, and a plan. It makes day to day life a little bit easier! I also have been doing somethings to get house work done too, especially laundry. So far that's about all I've got organized. It happens on Wednesday, Wash Wednesdays! That also means clean sheet day!!!! Love clean sheet day!!

I have to share a photo, if you've made it this far in my novel, humor me ;) I'm hoping this will maybe motivate me to do more...mmmm, maybe this is what I should do Sunday afternoon!!
Doesn't it look mouth watering!?! It's homemade (not a bread machine) multi grain bread!! Yumm-o!!

Wow, what a carzy weekend (10/19)

Well, we finally did it, we upgraded our vehicle. After talking, looking, driving, and more talking, we finally bought a 2004 Expedition. Crazy, I know. We talked about getting a F-150 truck, but I just didn't think it had enough 'cabin' room for all of us to be comfy on long trips, we'd always have a child between us too. We talked about a suburban, but never did test drive one, and my hubby is a Ford guy...so that was mostly out of the question. Definitely not something we planned to do this weekend, but we love it. We now have three vehicles. We plan on selling the car, and using the van as our 'second' vehicle. *I wrote this on Monday, and the car sold on Monday!!!* So now we have two vehicles, the van and the truck!! We love it!! When we got the van, we had a picture take, and this is what we looked like, 7 1/2 years ago (sorry for the bad pic, I took a picture of the picture) -->
<--So, here is us with another child and a bigger vehicle. In the picture on the right, Alexa was 2 weeks old, I had a c-section, and I was in alot of pain. It was a long day, and I remember it well, nursing in the bathroom of the dealership (which is in Moose Jaw), having a 3 yr old, a 1 yr old and a 2 week old to watch while we were working on the details. This new purchase was alot easier!! It's amazing how times change, scary too!! We will enjoy this vehicle as much as we enjoyed the van, we still have the van, but the truck is now our primary family/towing vehicle.

I am so excited...

I just bought my self something so fun!! It's called a Bind it All!! (<--if you click on the link it takes you to the website) Take a look at their blog http://www.binditall.blogspot.com/ and watch some of the videos if you are interested in knowing what this item is.

I can't wait to start making projects and gifts and having some fun in my craft area downstairs! I have been stamping again too, I love it, I missed it!! I am almost done my Christmas cards too!! I am in a club again this year, we get together every 6 weeks or so and our stampin up demo has some fun things for us to make, and new things to learn, then we order, each taking a turn being a hostess, and reaping the benefits!! This is a card I made for my nieces 3rd birthday.

We also got a new camera aswell, our other one was giving us grief. It is in getting fixed at the moment, we'll see if it comes back fixed or if they have to return us our money. I hope we get money back.

We had our first snow fall here, yesterday. We got alot of snow!! Alot of it has already melted today, but there is still quite a bit out there.
Here are a few more pictures, one of the table at thanksgiving dinner at my mom and dads and my new moccasins, I just love them!!

My Week at a Glance

I was inspired by a friends recent blog post to go through my week at a glance. We are definitely busier than we have ever been in the past, but definitely not as busy as some of my friends are, that's for sure!

Sunday

  • We have Church in the am, then Alexa has horse riding lessons 20 mins out of town after lunch

Monday

  • Starting Oct 19th, Noah has Power Skating and Hockey skills in the evening

Tuesday

  • Emmalee has guitar lessons in the afternoon

Wednesday

  • All the kids have FaithBuilders in the evening

Thursday

  • Is free for now, but starting the end of November ish, or whenever it is cold enough to flood the outdoor rink, Noah will have outdoor hockey at our local rink in the evenings

Friday

  • The kids and I go to a local church to have afternoon activities

Saturday

  • Breanna has soccer on Saturday mornings, starting in November (I'm hoping mornings, it has been in the past)

Throw in school everyday, the kids nights to stay up, a party or two a month that I attend, a date or two for the hubby and I, a ladies night out once a month, hubby playing a pick-up game of hockey every Saturday evening (I hope)...I'd say it's a full schedule for the Keffers. And of course trying to do housework and meals in the mix of it all...It sometimes makes it hard for me to think, with all that is going on. I'm thankful for our calendar on the wall! I need to fit in time to scrapbook and stamp!!! I haven't done it in a very very long time!

Rider Game

My hubby and I attended the recent home game of the local CFL team. We were shocked to witness the awful display of stupidity from a handful or two 'rider' fans sitting behind the opposing teams bench. If your not aware what happened, I don't want to really bring it up again, but here is a link to what happened: http://www.canada.com/reginaleaderpost/news/sports/roughriders/story.html?id=0ba81ee2-b4da-4d11-b06c-51a4be9ae73e

Later the next day I was reading that article and the comments from the some of the players on the opposing team and them being embarrassed to be from this city. I got a little fired up, and even wrote a letter to the editor who wrote the article. He promptly replied and told me it was well said, and asked if I wanted to be published....I didn't know what to think, so, I thought about it for a bit! And replied, hmmm, sure!! Well, after a few emails back and forth, to verify some things, here is my comment in regards to the incident published in today's Leader Post, September 23rd, 2008 http://www.canada.com/reginaleaderpost/news/letters/story.html?id=16cea8fc-1aff-4ac9-9559-133ce604e312&p=5

Kind of fun for me, I've never done anything like this before! We are going to the next home game, hopefully there won't be an incident like that again!

Hubby back to work....

I am having mixed feelings about the title. I enjoyed having him home, to help absorb the noises that go on here regularly, and help to manage the chaos! The kids are sad, of course. Daddy is the nicer parent (most of the time), he has a hard time saying no. I can say it very liberally, No, Nope, i don't think so, not right now, see, it's so easy for me. But daddy has a harder time saying no. Which cause alot of issues, especially if he says yes for something that doesn't work in our schedule, or if he says yes to something and there are only 2, instead of 4....see, it can be hard.

I'm glad he's back to work, then it kind of feels like we are back to 'normal' with life and finances, even though he was getting strike pay, it just wasn't guaranteed, and there was uncertainty there. We can get back to our day to day.....

Which just got exciting, Noah was doing his math, and bent over to get something on the floor and stuck a pencil into his forehead....it is a never ending barrel of excitement around here, and now I have a headache.....

First Day of School

The day went well, we did some book work, some reading and playing too! As usual, on the first day of school, we got them some new clothes. It has been something that my husband has wanted to do every year, and hey, they always need some new clothes, so why not! It's fun!

We had a little excitement on the long weekend, Noah was playing at a neighbours house and had a little spill with the handle bars of a scooter....and this was the result (you should see the scooter!!!)...he was fairly upset, and scared he'd have to go the rest of his life with a chipped tooth. We had it fixed the next day....a 200+ dollar fix....Stupid. They said that it will probably not last very long...I'm thinking at that price, it should last at least till he lives on his own and can afford to fix it himself!!
When I came home from my weekend away with my mom and sister, this is what I came home too!!! Beautiful sunflowers and roses (below) I also had a box of chocolates, my favorite kind!! Love my family! I think I should go away more often!!! teehee
We are going camping tomorrow, we are sooo excited! We are going to hubby's family farm to help with harvest, but we are also going to pretend like we are camping and do what we do when we go camping, food wise and what not. It will be nice to just hang out in the trailer and enjoy the scenery!! We are also going to be taking the kids school books and do school while we are there too. It will be nice to get away for a few days.

Rain Rain, Go Away, all the Keffers Want to Play

Rain Rain Go Away!!! Seriously!! So much for camping this week, our last week that we could have went...If it had been nice on Sunday or Monday, we would have totally packed up and went. We like camping in the rain! Cept it wasn't even nice enough for us to pack up the trailer. So, instead of having the whole week off, hubby is striking! Today he is out at a terminal, walking the line there. Should be interesting! Next week, we hope to camp, at the farm while we help with harvest...yes, Chris, we are still trying and planning to come out to help! We love it!! Praying for good weather next week!!!

We have alot of things on the go in the next few days...The kids are starting up some new things, Alexa will be taking Horse riding lessons, Emmalee will be starting guitar lessons. Noah and Breanna are getting registered on Tuesday for the activities they want to do, Noah Hockey skills, Breanna indoor soccer!! We are very excited for all these activities, and are coming to the realization that things cost alot of money! Geez, it's crazy. I'm thankful we had a little money hidden away, else we wouldn't have been able to do this. Kids have a birthday party on Sunday, I am in nursery, the kids Wednesday night faithbuilders starts up next week, it's crazy busy! All 4 kids will be going on Wednesday nights now. My hubby said he'd help out there, but they haven't called yet, I kinda hope they don't need him, cause I would like to have some quiet Wednesday evenings with just him and I!! That would be nice! We'll see, if they phone him, great, I will enjoy the night by myself!! ;)

My girls get away was good, we got a pedicure, we had supper and lunch and breakfast out, we stayed at 2 different hotels for the fun of it, we even went to the casino, for a grand total of 8 minutes...they still smoke in that one...sooo gross!! I lost 10 bucks, Cari a little bit more, and in the end, mom came out with $4.25! We had a visit with my great aunt, and we shopped a little. We were already talking about next years trip, we are thinking of going to a guest ranch. This weekend also inspired me to start up a tradition with my own daughters, so starting at the age of 11, we will do a girls weekend somewhere like Moose Jaw spa or something. Breanna will miss out for a few years, but then it will be that much more exciting when gets to the age of 11, maybe by then I will have changed it to 10...haha

Something Different

Thought I'd switch it up a bit, a few of my friends have been changing their backgrounds, so I thought I'd be a copy cat :)

Not too much is going on around here. Hubby is still striking...blah blah blah. He's planning on taking all next week off, and we are thinking of going camping. Haven't quite decided yet.

This weekend my sister and my mom and I are going to get away for a night, we're going to Yorkton!!! My sister is wanting to get away before the new baby comes, so that is what we are doing!! I'd like this to be an annual thing, hint hint Mom and Cari!! And something we should have started a LONG time ago!!! Just next time, lets not go to Yorkton ;) The biggest reason we are going to Yorkton, is to visit my nanny, my moms mom. So we will do that, and get a pedicure, and go to a movie maybe, maybe go swimming, maybe go to the casino...lol And definitely enjoy some quiet time with just the girls. It will be good to get away for some family bonding!!

School in some parts have started already, and in this neck of the woods, it is still Summer Holidays!! Well, the real reason is I haven't ordered any books yet. I have a lot of books, just need some work books in the handwriting and math department. Otherwise, we are good to go. Just need to get a little motivation as well, I'm working on that....to be honest, I'm not all together this year, maybe it's because I'm nervous about having to teach 4 kids, and that scares me. Maybe it's because I'm not confident with myself, not sure that I can do another year. Don't get me wrong, I love having my kids at home with me, I'd be a great unschooler, 'cept I'm not comfortable with that either. I wish we could just hang out, and not learn anything, but seriously, I do want my kids to learn, it's just getting harder...that's all. Something you can pray for.

We went to Moose Jaw on the 23rd, it was a last minute trip. We heard that the Air Force Base was having a 'open house' or sorts, Armed Forces Day. They had some displays, this is inside a big tank thing, even though it's not a tank...I can't remember what it's called, and planes out, had a bit of an air show as well. It was pretty fun. We didn't want to stay the whole day, but we stayed longer than we planned. We saw the plane that the Prime Minister uses to fly across the ocean!! Check it out:

This is where Mr Harper Chillaxes!!! There might be a potty in there but if not,

this could be where the PM goes to the potty while flying...

Seriously....

has it been that long since I've updated...crazy. We've been busy, camping, mostly. We've gone out 8 times already, and I think we have one or two more before the season is over. Or maybe no more, depends on the strike.

My brother and sister in law had a baby GIRL on August 1st!!! They named her Brooklyn Gail. Gail is after my mom. She's a cutie! This is a picture of me holding her for the first time, she was already a week old.

My husband and his work are still striking...I'm getting tired of it. He got a letter in the mail today, and when I read it after he was done, I had a sick feeling that this strike isn't going to be over anytime soon...that scares me alot. For many reasons, the strike fund is going to dry up eventually....and that's the biggest reason I am scared. It's different having him around more. I wonder what it's going to be like when school gets underway? I can't even think of that right now, it gives me a headache. And life goes on.....

Watching Olympics has been fun, I could watch them all day, if they were on during the day...evening will have to do.

We spent a night at a hotel here in our city (kinda weird I know) as a surprise for the kids! It was on our 13th wedding anniversary! We got a gift card for Christmas, and we found out that it could only be used at the hotel here in the city (where it was bought). We had fun, but I really would like to have a date alone with my hubby. We don't really have a babysitter, so we'll have to figure something out. We are going to a football game in September, and the kids are having a sleepover at Aunty's house, so that will be fun!!

Oh and this is the 'new' cot for hotels if you need an extra bed....$15.00 to 'borrow' this bed for a night. It is an air mattress, one you plug in and push a button and it blows up. So, my hubby had a good idea, cause in most rooms there is only 2 double/queen beds usually, so we'd need to 'cots', well, we will get a double air mattress like this and take it places we need an extra bed... some day!!

Hopefully next time I won't wait too long to post an update!!

The Picket Line

Is a depressing place!! It really is, I truly don't know how the people do it, day after day!! Good thing it is only 4 hrs a day. The kids and I have joined him a few times, and the first time I walked with him the whole time, I was very blah all evening and actually crashed on the couch by 10pm, which is odd and that happen to be the night hubby was up till 1 am, which is even odder for any of you that know hubby, he's the one crashing on the couch at 10pm. But we happened to have be on TV both the times we were there, once on CTV and once on CBC, the kids were pretty thrilled with that!! Hubby was able to walk a few extra hours a couple of days, so that he could have a Friday off and we went camping! It was fun, I got burnt, we had really bad camping neighbours, and I don't want to go camping again for a while, but other that that it was fun!! I never took a single picture, if you can believe it...oh well, next time!!

We don't have much planned over the next few weeks, more of the same, hubby is walking the picket line, but starting Monday, the union is giving them a raise!! Yah, things are looking up!

One thing we are looking forward to is the birth of our 9th cousin/niece or nephew, that is going to be exciting to meet this little person and see who will joining our big happy family!!

It's almost time (lots of pictures)

For my husband to be walking the picket line at his work. I'm really not looking forward to him being on strike. There is sooo much uncertainty, it's scaring me. There is only 2 months of stike pay, after that it's all up to ourselves...and hubby is talking of it going into harvest/fall. That scares me, being a one income family. And I am not about to go out looking for a job, I haven't had a 'job' in 12 years! Please Pray for quick resolve!! Thanks!

We went camping again last weekendit was supposed to be a homeschooling event, and there were only 4 homeschooling families there, including us. We were even thinking of bailing because it had rained all day Friday, and we had been camping the 2 weekends before, but we said we were going and so we went. I doubt we will go back to that camp ground, it was small, and the campsites are kinda close. But the kids had fun exploring the surroundings and hanging out with the other homeschoolers that were there, which thank-fully were close to the same ages as our kids. They had a pool there tooso the kids had fun on Saturday swimming, and so did daddy!!
We went to A Heritage Day at the Clay bank Brick Plant on Sunday the 29th. That was fun, we were there all day and we saw rope making, blacksmithing brick laying (they all had a turn) spinning wheel and loom display (they all had a turn). We also took a tractor hay ride into the clay banks, and a jigger ride! All in all it was a great day, we got to see lots of homeschooling familes, and hubby got to enjoy some Saskatoon berry pie!

Emmalee took a lot of these pictures, that's why you don't see her much!

Wow, it's almost July

That craziness, where did June go? We have enjoyed camping this month, twice now and are going again this coming weekend to a Homeschool Camping Weekend! It should be fun, on Sunday we will be heading out to a Brick Plant to enjoy a Heritage Day there. And then enjoy a few days off here for the July 1st holiday, Canada Day.

The kids are pretty much done school....a few lessons here and there, which we will just work on through the summer. It's been an interesting year...I need to get them onto a routine next year, we kind of had one towards the end of this school year, and it was nice...so next year we will start the beginning of the year with a routine, and go from there and see how long it lasts! ;)
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our last weekend camping, we rented a BOAT!! It was sooo much fun, next time we go, we will rent another one! And we went a fishing a few times as well, and on Fathers day (the last one is of Michael on Father's Day at Sunset!) My favorite!!

Slacker

Yep, that's me, I'm not updating anything. I am just not that interesting of a person and have nothing really going on in my life that is exciting enough to post a whole update...

The kids however...they have finished up swimming lessons for the year and the three older kids passed and Breanna never. She's ok with it, it is only her second time in lessons, I think...I can't remember anymore. They are getting awfully close to finishing up their work books for the year, and I for one am getting excited for a little break. They have been enjoying our butterfly life cycle that we have going on here, we have been watching catterpillers turn into chrysalis, and now turn from chrysalis into beautiful painted lady butterflies. We have 8 now! It's quite amazing! Soon we will have to release them!

However we are not too excited about the next few weeks...my husbands work is going to be striking...There are some issues with his union and the company, can't really get into details, but if you can, please keep us in your prayers. It's not something that a single income family can afford to have happen....

We are going camping this weekend again, and were 'planning' on leaving Thursday, but the weather isn't cooperating, so we may end up going as per the original plan of Friday. We are looking forward to it, my husband especially, being stressed with work and all.

That's all for now, I am frustrated with my computer at the moment, so no pictures...It has taken me over 40 mins to just get to this point....

We're Goin' Camping!!

Yepper, first trip of the year, and we are going for 3 nights. We are heading to Rowan's Ravine. We really like it there, there aren't many trees, but we like the little cafe, the marina is very nice! They keep the park nice and clean, and they also have the Conservation Officers patrolling the place often, which makes you feel good, knowing they aren't going to let anything get out of control! We are hoping to rent a boat this time!! We'll see how that goes! I am definitely not as stressed this time around, with food, food prep and packing! I think I am really going to enjoy our menu too! I like to make things while we are camping, that we'd have here if we were home, like marinated BBQ chicken with potatoes and corn, and then we will use the left over chicken the next evening for chicken fried rice with broccoli!! mmmm I really enjoy cooking, most of the time that is!! I hope to get some relaxing in as well!!

We have 3 camping trips planned for June already too!! I'm excited, the last weekend in June we are going to be going with other homeschoolers to a campground near a Brick plant, and they are having a open house there that weekend!! It should be fun!

Have a good weekend, hope to post some pictures next week!

This and That and a couple pics!

Another week has begun, and another Mothers Day behind us! A friend recently suggested that Mothers Day should be changed to Mothers Week, and I have to agree!! A week out of the year, to celebrate what us moms do, it's really not asking much! Some food for thought anyways! I had a great day, started with breakfast in bed, and gifts and cards, and hugs and chocolate! Then I got to work in the church nursery, and Alexa stayed with me, she's such a great helper! And the rest of the day was relaxing, I tried to have a nap, didn't quite pan out, went and flew out kite for a little bit and watched the season finale of survivor! It was a fun day! I also made a suggestion to my darling husband, that every Sunday should be mothers day!? Some more food for thought! Did I mention I got chocolate,

We've had alot of things going on lately. We got new windows last week, 4 to be exact! Now it will be easier for me to wash them! We had someone here working on the finishing touches to the central air! Someone is coming to work on the electrical panel, and um, ya, the bathroom still isn't quite done. It is usable, the toilet flushes and the girls are brushing their teeth down there, but the tub is still unusable. We are waiting for some parts that supposedly didn't come with the faucet. We've put up a few accessories, but there are still some other things to be done in there, moving the light over so that it is centered to the sink, putting up the shower curtain, painting some spots that needed to be mudded again, the ceiling...it's never ending!!!!!!!

On a fun note, we picked our trailer up out of storage on Friday and set it up! We still love it! We are going camping in fact, not this weekend, but the weekend after, 22nd-25th!! We are all sooo excited!
Here are a few pictures from our weekend at the farm, and the new baby, who is already a month old in these photos! Alexa and Emmalee taking turns holding Jonathan! They were lovely little helpers that evening, passing the gifts to their auntie for her to open!

This is our new toy, a 8x12 ft trampoline! It's super fun! I love to watch the kids jump on it, and especially love to watch them use their imaginations and make up fun games! Also note the large item to the left of the trampoline, it's our other new toy, central air!! It's going to be a nice summer!

Breanna riding her bike with her lovely red Christmas dress on, and her beautiful Robeez slippers! How a princess spends her free time!! My baby is growing up tooo fast!!
