Well, around here it is. We have our tree up, bought it and set it up on the 7th, and decorated it that day as well!! I really like how it turned out this year! We decorated the house with a few other things, so it looks festive over here, mostly. Sorry, I don' t know how to flip pictures from this camera...
The kids had their Christmas play last night, it turned out really well. They all were in it, and they all did well with their parts. Emmalee
was an angel, she had 18 lines she said. Noah was a priest, and he had 5 or 6 lines
, Alexa was passerby and she had 1 line, and her and Breanna had a line towards the end with all the other angels and choir people.
We've had a few busy days with a school trip, outdoor hockey tryouts, and a earache thrown into the mix of it all. Things are winding down for the year shortly. The kids no longer have Wednesday nights, not till Jan 7th. Emmalee has one guitar lesson left, and Noah has one power skating/hockey skills class left, then he starts outdoor hockey, on Thursday the 18th or Friday the 19th. Breanna's soccer is done till January as well! We have one more school trip for the little girls, and a few other things on the agenda, and then it is Christmas. The kids are excited, of course. They used their own money this year to buy each other gifts, and it was a neat experience going shopping with them. They pretty much knew what they wanted to get each other. To see their excitement when they pulled out their own money to pay, it was something that will be stored in my memory bank for ever! They never even complained once!! Precious little hearts.
