Still waiting for proof!!

***Edited 5pm***
The picture came today!! And Charity, I should have checked my email while you were still here, cause it was in my inbox while we were watching that video on the computer....

The picture hasn't come yet, so I may have to email them again.....Doesn't surprise me though, this is the government we are talking about....haha

We have a busy few weeks ahead, and I'm looking forward to every part of it! We have a few birthdays, including mine, which I happen to be working in the church nursery the day of my birthday. We are taking a little trip to one of the families favorite hotels, in Medicine Hat, and we are going to be painting our bedroom and whole main floor. We've lived in this house for 12 yrs now, and have not painted the hallway or the living room. Every other part of the house has been painted cept those two areas. Well now it the time, I'm getting tired of the tired looking walls, time to sprucen it up!! Most likely with a colour called Ashwood, and out bedroom, still trying to decide if I should paint 2 walls ashwood and 2 walls the velvety merlot. Or if I should paint 3 walls ashwood and 1 wall velvety merlot. Sigh...I hate making major decisions like that...any suggestions?? Should I paint all 4 walls velvety merlot and forget the ashwood? We love the velvety merlot! And I do love the ashwood too.

Check them out if you wish, it is just a little colour swatch. Sorry bout that. (you'll have to type the name in, sorry)

Ashwood

Velvety Merlot

Let me know what you would do?

Also, since writing this blog this morning, I've obsessed even more over paint colours, and have picked a whole bunch of new ones, I'm beginning to like picking colours! I used to hate it!!

Those other two you picked are really pretty colours. I would do Ashwood on three walls and velvety merlot on one wall (possibly the wall with your bed and then use similar ashwood coloured bedding with velvety merlot accents - if you're going that far...). I love painting and picking colours. I change my mind all the time, too! It's so fun.

Hmmm - that's a toughie - in our last house we painted the walls taupe but then later added red to the headboard wall (no headboard though!!!) and then continued it onto the window wall too. Depends if you want a 'feature wall' or if you want to divide it up a bit... if you did two walls, I would pick one that connects to your feature wall of choice but a wall that has something big on it already like a window or closets, if that makes sense?

well, i think we chose to do the closet wall and the 'headboard' all the velvety merlot, and the other two walls the ashwood! With black accents! I can't wait to see the finished results!
