A New Day

Wow, a beautiful new day! God is so glorious, and wonderful. Every morning I wake up, and I am thank-full, for a new day, to start fresh! I have 4 beautiful blessings to share each day with, and a wonderful husband to share my life with! I have family close, and friends all around! We have been blessed! I love my life!

Then there are the times when our heart aches, and tears flow from our eyes. For whatever reason we each have our own sorrows, and sadness. When those times come, I cry out to God, and He is always there, to comfort and lift me up! Right now, I am crying out to God to save me from going INSANE!!!

I started writing this entry about 30 minutes ago, I've been interrupted by children eager to finish school work to go jump on the trampoline, and a child whaling at the top of her lungs because she got hurt. This time of year is so challenging, it is sooo nice out, and we all want to go out and enjoy this weather, but school still needs to be done! The kids have been amazing though, getting most of their book work done before 10am sometimes.

Renovations are coming along nicely! We have the plumbers coming back on Friday to finish the plumping (ya think?!) To install the toilet and sink, faucets and shower and such! Then we get to 'dress' the place up! I'm soooo excited! Last night we did the tub surround and I put a coat of primer on in the morning, and this morning I put the first coat of colour on the walls, ooh la la!! I love it!! It is the same colour as the girls room, as it is going to be mainly the girls bathroom! Once we move Breanna downstairs, it will house 3 girls! It will really be nice to have a usable bathroom downstairs again!!

We are looking forward to going to visit family this weekend, and attend the baby shower of our nephew/cousin!! I can't wait to snuggle little Jonathan! My husbands birthday is on Monday, and he has the day off, so we are also looking forward to a long weekend!

Well...

I came here today to post some pictures, and am now getting an error when I click the Add Image button...sooooo, no pictures today. But I'm sure most of you who read my blog are also on Facebook, and if your not, you should totally sign up, it's a way to reconnect with people from your past and keep in touch with people from your present, sorry, it doesn't predict the future, but it is a great way to know what your friends have planned for the future ;)
Not a lot has been going on, just busy, busy, busy....that bathroom is a pain in the derriere!! It's slowly coming along, and I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel, or not see the light from my stamp desk I should say =) Some drywall is up on the outside of the bathroom, whoo hoo!! We had the plumber over a few days ago, or was it yesterday, I don't remember...did some last minute changes before the drywall goes up.
We bought the kids a trampoline! It is the 8x12 rectangle one from Canadian Tire! They are really enjoying it, and I have to admit, it is fun!! Ya, I tried it! It's great exercise too! They are slowly learning the rules and regulations that go along with having a new toy, but so far I think it is totally worth it! Our neighbours might be hearing some more whines and cries, and hollering through the back window (from me), but that's to be expected!
Hopefully the next time I log back in it blogger will let me upload pics!! Until next time, sign up on facebook and do a search for moi!!

Jonathan Christopher

Yes, It's A Boy!! 8lbs, 6 oz, born on April 2nd by c-section! And we got to see him twice!!! I was thrilled! I love babies!! I was the winner in the baby poll, I was right with the gender and the closest in weight, 2 out of 3 is pretty good, wonder what I win?

We had a great time on our little vacation. I am very tired, had two not so good sleeps, even though I am a pretty good sleeper!! Oh well. Life goes on.

When I get a chance to go through my pictures, I will post some from the last few days!! I am going to take the day tomorrow and Relax...why do you ask, cause it's my birthday, and I can!! Have a great weekend!!

Reno's and Birthdays

{ Sorry for the dial-up users, there are a few pictures to load}

There are 3 birthdays left in the family to celebrate before we start it all over again after Christmas, which is a long ways away. We are hoping to travel to Saskatoon this week for a few reasons, one to celebrate my baby's 5th birthday and to see the new baby (which hasn't arrived yet, but we are hoping it will arrive before the 5th or 6th, which I am sure they are hoping for too) We are also hoping to take in the Western Development Museum, and do alot of swimming! I have to make some phone calls tomorrow, cause the hotel people we talked to tonight didn't know what they were talking about. And in May, we are celebrating my DH's birthday by redoing our shingles on our house, yippee! We are having a big family get together, and we are hoping to get a trampoline before then too, so the kids will have something to do besides cleaning up the shingles! So, if anyone feels like they would like to help with shingles, and get some free lunch and cake out of it, let me know and I will add your name to the list!! So far we have my side of the family coming, but I know there are some of you out there that are dying to do shingles!!

(more pictures at the bottom of the post)

Here are some pictures that I took from our last birthday, Miss Alexa Dawn. She picked East Side Mario's to go to for lunch and got to spin the wheel, as you will notice, it did NOT stop on the pie in the face, however, Alexa asked for it!!! And the waitress brought it, and said Noah had to do it, well, Noah wasted no time, and did it good....it was quite funny, I didn't take a picture, 'cause I was too embarrassed...oh well. It was fun! We had been to Chuck E. Cheese prior to lunch and they had a blast! I love their Birthdays, spending it as a family! I still haven't done a big party for her which brings us to our next topic of discussion....

Reno's.

I said, and told people I was going to have a party for Alexa and Breanna after the basement bathroom is done, and my house is back in order....well, it's taking alot longer that *I* would like...I wish I could cut drywall....and hammer studs, but my DH is taking his sweet time, for no real reason, except, his word, laziness. He is busy at work, I understand that, that is why I wish I could do some of that hard labour kind of work.

This is the little puppet theatre we got her, she loves it! Isn't she adorable!!

Still No Baby

Easter weekend came and went, and it was a fun time at the farm visiting! I wished we could have spent the night, but my hubby is on call today for work, even though he has the day off...well, it's been nothing of a day off for him. The phone turned on at 8am, and he has been on it alllllll day. I was able to jet out with two of the kids to exchange this adorable dress my baby girl got as a birthday gift yesterday from Grandma. She absolutely loves it, we tried on the 'new' one at the store, and it looks sooo cute on her! I am hoping and praying this week goes by fast and that the baby arrives safe and sound soon!! Who knows, maybe it will decide to come next week and add to the April birthdays, that would be lovely, April is a great month ;)

We have a slow week, not much on. The kids have no Faith Builders this week, spring break, but we will continue on with school tomorrow. We have Afternoon Activities on Friday as usual.

I have no pictures to share today because I am on my laptop, and the pictures are on the other computer which is being taken over by my hubby's work stuff!

Our kitty cat has been living outside for about a week now. Emmalee seemed to be getting worse with her breathing and her skin, so we evicted the kitty. We were going to take him to the farm, but even I felt no so good about that idea. We would have tons of mice if he left us. He's a good mouser. So we will build him a home that he can live in all through the year. We'll get a heat lamp to use in the winter, he'll be ok.
